Arkansas lady turkey slammers, Zoe Caywood and Phyliss Speer, doubled up on a pair of Missouri birds this spring. Zoe's gobbler sported a 10.5 inch beard while Phyl's had a triple beard. Both ladies prefer to hunt with a custom-made flintlock muzzleloading shotgun.

Travis Duggan is a turkey hunter and jewelry designer from Albuquerque, NM.  He took this beautiful Merriam's - Rio Grande mix-breed turkey in New Mexico.

Marti Davis of Willard, Mo shot this mature gobbler in Perry Count Illinois. It had a 12 inch beard and 1 3/16 inch spurs.

Brett Nelson with Leoupold Optics scored a double recently with a pair of fine wild turkey gobblers.

Matt Burtin and Alex Carr, owners of Commando Game Calls, recently hosted Brenda and the Bass Pro camera crew to a turkey hunt in central Missouri. She took this large mature tom while on the hunt which completed her 2008 Grand Slam.

Austin Madden took his first wild turkey on May 3. His fine bird had a 10 inch beard and almost inch long spurs.

This group is part of the 4-generation owned and operated, J&J Hunting LLC in Oklahoma.
