On March 9, I was fortunate to  spend the evening at the 20th Annual NWTF Banquet of Rock Hill, SC Chapter .  Regional Director, Scott Martin and Banquet Chairman, Cindy Davis, and a team hardworking committee members certainly put on an excellent fundraiser.  Crowds of NWTF supporters came early to buy raffle tickets, enjoy the fine barbecue dinner, visit with friends and to check out the variety items up for auction.

As is the custom of all NWTF Banquets, special homage is paid to the American Flag and veterans of our Armed Forces. 

I enjoyed visiting with all the friendly folks and was happy to autograph several dozen NWTF caps for them.

The Rock Hill Chapter has an active Women In The Outdoors program led by some enthusiastic ladies.

Two highlights of the program were the Sportsman Memorial Presentation and the College Scholarship Award.

Bidding was fast and furious at times.

I never miss an opportunity to recruit more ladies to turkey hunting so during the evening I gave instructions for yelping on a drinking straw. Too bad the pictures don't have sound however the faces tell of the fun these gals were having.
