This was the inaugural year for the Land and Wildlife Expo held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and grounds. It was fantastic and I look forward to being a part of it again next year.

The entrance to the 105 acres food-plot and activates area was well-staffed, offered plenty of parking and frequent shuttles.

I took part in the GIANT 94.7 Cookville,TN, remote radio broadcast on Friday.

I really liked this natural-looking ground-blind.

The Land and Wildlife Expo offered tons of fun and educational stuff for everyone and judging from the size of the footprints some Big Kids enjoyed this John Deere playground.

Cuz Strickland says his RAM truck will fly but I just figured he was joking with me...guess he wasn't!

The TWRA was out in full-force, dogs and all.

I'm guessing this guy is training for a sheep hunt...

My major purchase at the show was a couple of these dandy Redneck Hunting Blinds. What can I say? Some women are shoe or handbag shoppers, I'm all about the cool hunting stuff.

During the opening ceremonies of the concert banquet Saturday evening, Mr. Lincoln (the bald eagle) as well as representatives from the Ft. Campbell military base gave added meaning to the National Anthem.

It is always a pleasure to work with Jeff Foxworthy. He is not only the world's funniest guy but also an enthusiastic hunter, conservationist and humanitarian.

The members of Craig Morgan's band really play well together but it is obvious they all have different hair stylists....

Peggy Vallery, Chairman of the NWTF Board, was the keynote speaker of the Legends of the Outdoors induction ceremonies on Sunday.

One of my favorite parts of the entire Expo was visiting the 105 acre foodplot test area. A lot of man/woman hours went in to preparing and maintaining these for everyone to enjoy and learn about.
