Brenda with TurkeyJerry Wydner, co-owner of Hunters Safety Systems, shot this gorgeous cinnamon phase bear in Alberta. The airline lost all of Jerry's equipment and luggage but, thanks to the generosity of other hunters in camp who shared their stuff, he succeeded. Jerry had great things to say about this hunt and the outfitter, Green Island Outfitters.

Brenda with TurkeyJake McElroy sat through torrents of rain and high winds on April 24th to give this gobbler a piggyback ride out of the Obion River bottom.

Brenda with TurkeyJordon Burton and her dad, Matt, shared a special turkey hunt during the Missouri Youth Season. Of course Jordon credits "her" calling skills and an assortment of Commando Calls for her fine success.

Brenda with Turkey This morning's turkey weighed 24 lbs, had a 10-1/2 inch beard and 1-1/2 inch sharp hooks. I shot him with a Winchester 12 gauge pump shotgun with a Pure Gold choke using Winchester Extended Turkey Loads 3 in No. 6, Vanguard Shooting Stick, Commando Doom-Box Call, and Mossy Oak Camo.

Brenda and Barney Barney and I pulled off another double this week on really nice gobblers.

Brenda with Grandchildren Brenda and hunting partners Sarah and Caleb put in a day of tough turkey hunting. Sarah insisted that LULU (in the pink) enjoyed turkey hunting too.

Tim Samples with Turkey Tim Samples from Madison, Tennessee, took an afternoon off from guiding other hunters in hopes of punching one of his Tennessee turkey tags. This nice gobbler had the winning ticket.

Rance Rance is a future turkey hunter who can't wait till he's old enough to shoot a shotgun.

Andy Gallimore Andy Gallimore of Louisville, KY, hunted the family farm in TN during the opening week of turkey season. This whopping Tom weighed 25lbs and sported an 11 inch beard.

Becky Evans Becky Evans from Atoka, OK is proudly displaying her first wild turkey. Becky and husband, Mike, hunt together on the family property. Mike is the Oklahoma NWTF State President. Congratulations Becky!

Scarlet Scarlet Orr bagged her second mature gobbler of the season. Scarlet shoots a .12 gauge Mossberg with Winchester Extended Range ammunition. She uses a Commando box call and wears Mossy Oak camo.

Judy Orr tagged her first gobbler on opening day of the TN season. Grandson, Caleb, was her caller.

10-year-old Caleb Orr shot this limbhanger during the TN Youth turkey season while hunting with his dad.

Justin McElroy tagged this good looking turkey during the TN Youth Season.

Brenda shot this wild boar recently in Oklahoma with Mike and Becky Evans.

Wheelin' Sportsman, Blake Walters, and his dad are tickled pink with Blake's 2009 massive mule deer. Blake also took a whitetail with a crossbow in Ohio. Way to go Blake!!

During an autograph session at the recent NWTF Convention, Brenda's granddaughter, Sarah Cate, was asked to sign so many caps that she grabbed a stool and put her best first-grade autograph on several.

Joe Turner, manager of the Paris, TN. Kroger, took his best-ever buck while hunting with good friend, Jamie Orr.

Scarlet Orr braved single digit temps to put the smack-down on this big old Tennessee buck.

Justin McElroy brought home lots of bacon during the Christmas Holidays from his Oklahoma hog hunt.

Mary Mars is all smiles over the rare white color phase wild turkey hen she shot with a muzzleloader in Virginia during the Christmas Holidays.
